Shirley L (Franklin) MIemiec

Shirley L. (Franklin) Miemiec, 99, passed away on November 24, 2025 at Vantage Of Hampden.  She was born in Springfield on January 6, 1926 to the late Hugh and Mabel (Stewart) Franklin and was a graduate of Agawam High School. She was a bank teller at Third National Bank in Springfield and was a volunteer at Noble Hospital for many years.

Shirley was predeceased by her husband Edward, sister Phyllis Craig and brothers Stuart and Richard. She is survived by her son Glenn and his wife Lori of Harwich, daughter Cheryl Brock of Naples, a sister, Janet Ross of Agawam, and grandchildren Bradley, Alex and Christopher. Shirleys family would like to thank the staff at Vantage Of Hampden for the wonderful and compassionate care that was provided to Shirley. Calling hours will be from 10:00 to 11:30 on Tuesday, followed by a Celebration of Life at 11:30 Am in Firtion Adams Funeral Service, 76 Broad Street in Westfield.  In lieu of flowers donations can be made to a charity of your choice. www.firtionadams.com
