Terri B. (Kudej) Huckins

Theresa “Terri” B. (Kudej) Huckins, 50, passed away on Friday, August 28, 2020 at home after a 5 year battle with cancer. She was born in Norwich, CT to Angela (St. Onge) Ferrando and Thomas Kudej. She loved working for F.L. Roberts for many years as a manager. She was an active mother to not only her four children and their significant others, but to every child she met. She was a devoted grandmother “Maymee” and never hesitated to go above for her babies. She spent the majority of her free time dirtbike riding, camping, relaxing by a bonfire and just enjoying her friends and family. Terri is survived by her mother, Angela Ferrando, her grandmother, Shirley Berard, her father, Thomas Kudej, all of Springfield, her loving children, Louis Dombek of Tempe, AZ, Jeremy Dombek of Westfield, Erika Dombek of Earlton, NY and Brandon Huckins of Westfield. She persevered through her illness to see her nine cherished grandchildren grow, Ireland Fuller, Lilianna Dombek, Izabella Dombek, Adelyn Crosler, Benjamin Marsh, Madelyn Marsh, Aubrey Huckins, Logan Huckins and Calliope Dombek a sister, Bethany Flanagan of Springfield and four children, Matthew Rice, Andrew Rice, Nicholas Flanagan and Emily Flanagan. She was loved by several of her best friends of over 20 years; her soul mate, Matthew Huckins, Anita Huckins, Dianne Ottomaniello and her daughter Rebeccah Szczygiel, Marcy and Wayne Phelps and their daughter, Alison Phelps, Jimmy Phelps, and Randy Szczygiel among too many other friends and family who all played a huge part in her life. Visiting hours will be held at Firtion Adams, 76 Broad St. Westfield, MA 01085 on Thursday from 5-7 PM with a funeral home service at 7PM.
