Thomas F. Benson, Sr.

Thomas Benson, Sr. passed away peacefully at home on June 18, 2025. Thomas was a veteran of the United States Army 101 st Airborne, worked for many years at Sears, Smith & Wesson and Loomis and was the owner of T.F.A.D.T. Chainsaws of New England. Thomas loved fishing, hunting, camping and cooking Sunday breakfast for his
family. He is survived by his loving wife of 66 years, Frances (Lizak) Benson, his children Antoinette Waterman of Palm Bay, FL and her husband David, Deborah Vaudrin of Palm Bay FL and her husband Brian, Thomas Benson Jr. of Granby MA and his wife Carol and his brother McDonald Benson of St. Petersburg, FL. Thomas also leaves behind 13 grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren and 2 great great-grandchildren. Calling hours will be held on Wednesday June 25, from 4:00pm-7:00pm
at Firtion-Adams Funeral Home in Westfield. His funeral will begin on Thursday June 26, at 9am from Firtion-Adams Funeral Service. His Funeral Mass will follow at 10am at Our Lady of the Blessed Sacrament Church in Westfield. Burial will be private and at the convenience of the family.
