Thomas W Stone

Thomas W. Stone, 88, passed away peacefully at home on Friday April 4, 2025. Tom was born in Westfield on May 27, 1936 to Jesse W. and Ruth (Favreau) Stone. He was a graduate of Westfield High School and went on to UMASS to study agriculture. He was employed by Western Mass Electric Company for over 40 years. Tom enjoyed showing jersey cattle with 4H for many years and won many prestigious ribbons and awards. He also had a green thumb and could be found in his large vegetable garden which brought him much joy. This love started from an early age growing up on his family farm and he passed this love to his children. They all grew up showing cattle and Arabian horses with him by their side. Tom is survived by Hazel M. Stone of Westfield and their four children Cynthia J. Dubay of West Springfield, Gary T. Stone and his wife Pamela of Westfield, Paul W. Stone and his wife Jennifer of Westfield and Ruthanne Carter of Westfield, five grandchildren Rebecca, Jessica, Jason, Linda and Laura and three great grandchildren Payton, Rylee and Brynn. Services for Tom will be private.
