Thomas W Smith

Thomas W. Smith, 64, passed away on Thursday, November 2, 2023 at home surrounded by his family. He was born in Yonkers, NY to the late Phillip L. and Viola P. (Forkell) Smith. He was employed by H.B. Smith as a foundry worker ops before becoming a carpenter for many years. Thomas was a Lance Corporal in the United States Marine Corps from 1977-1982. He was an avid New York Yankees fan and enjoyed riding his Harley, especially for nonprofit events. Besides his parents, he was predeceased by a brother Michael Smith and a sister June Ann Kivel. Thomas is survived by his wife Dianne J. (Funaro) Smith, his children, Brittany P. Jamgochian and her husband Mark of Feeding Hills and Kyle T. Smith with Katie Croisetiere of Maricopa, AZ, his brother Valentine Smith of Pennsylvania, his sister Phyllis Murtha and her husband Steven of Yonkers, NY, his cherished grandchildren, Jahcee Smith and Chloe Jamgochian, who he had a great love playing with, and his nephews, Richard, Brian and John Kivel and extended nieces, nephews and cousins. A Funeral Home Service will be held on Tuesday, November 14, 2023 at 12 noon in the Firtion Adams Funeral Service, 76 Broad St. Westfield, MA.
