Timothy B. Wengert, 79, passed away peacefully on November 6, 2025, after a courageous battle with Parkinson’s disease. Born on March 23, 1946, in Reading, Pennsylvania, to the late Elmer and Catherine Wengert, Tim grew up in Reading and graduated from Reading High School. He proudly served his country in Germany during the Vietnam War as Army Sgt E5. Tim is survived by his beloved wife of 59 years, Donna Wengert. Together, they shared a lifetime of love and memories, enjoying trips to Myrtle Beach, Aruba, and the Jersey Shore for reunions with cherished friends. He was a devoted father to Andrea and Matthew Wengert (and his girlfriend Wendy Bard), and a proud grandfather to Rachel Hoban (and her husband Jake), Alexa Barkyomb, Timothy Shimald, and Sophia Wengert. Tim is also survived by his sister, Patricia Paris, and her children, Jeff and Diane. Throughout his career, Tim was a dedicated truck driver for Service Star, the Bulk Mail Center, and H.P. Hood. He took great pride in his work and especially in keeping his tractor meticulously maintained. Tim had a lifelong love for cars and was an avid fan of the Philadelphia Phillies and Eagles. His warmth, humor, and steadfast spirit will be deeply missed by all who knew him. Calling hours will be held on Monday, November 17th, from 11:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at Firtion Adams Funeral Home, 76 Broad Street, Westfield, MA. A service will follow at 12:30.
