Aunt Donna,John Jr and all his girls, we are deeply saddened to hear of John's passing ! I see the pain in my father's face and know he misses his brother terribly ! Fortunately we were in Massachusetts a couple months ago and got to stay with uncle John and Donna for a week ! They are wonderful people and staying with them is always a pleasure ! I got to see them together being brothers, smiling, laughing, drinking coffee and talking about the good ole days ! Loved their stories of growing up together, you could see the love they had for each other ! It was really a special thing to see! My uncle was quite the man, he had many talents, he built his own house, he helped alot of people ! He was a big guy, with a heart of gold and a very kind man ! He touched a lot of lives and was the epitome of a hard worker ! I know it pains my dad that we are not able to be there today for the service, but we are there in spirit and heart ! We miss him and we love and we know he is with family members who have already passed ! Though we don't know when, but we will see him again for sure ! My uncle always had some jokes for me, he was the type of guy who would leave you busting a guy !! I ll miss them jokes !! Rest in peace uncle John !! Deepest condolences from California !!

I'm so glad you attended the family reunion where I finally had a chance to get to know you in person. Like all of my Lastowski cousins, you were always quick with the jokes and fun to be around. My deepest condolences to all of the family and especially to Donna. Thinking of you all at this very sad time.

So Sad to hear of Uncle John's passing. I still can remember Uncle John telling us the story of his horses, I think one horse was named Big Red. Our family also loves horses and have had many and still do today. We all still think of our mom, Uncle John's sister Alyce who passed in 2004. The holidays are especially hard without them, so I do understand how the family is feeling today and for days going forward. It is hard to lose a family member, but we will all someday travel this path and hopefully once again we will be together. Remember the good ole days and the great times spent with a great husband, father, grandfather, and an uncle. Rest in PEACE.

I want to give my heartfelt condolences to the Family. John was also my uncle, and I looked up to him, when I was a child. I didn't see much of him ,but when I did he was always smiling, and the kindest man,I've ever known. He will be deeply missed. I sure wish I could have seen him just one more time before he passed. Rest In Peace John.May you fly with the angels now,and be with you mom and dad, daughter, sister and brother. Love you Uncle John.

When god made John,he broke the mold. Always such a selfless man. Helping others in need, and never a thought about what he got out of it. So much love and devotion to his family and friends. He's a Uncle, whom I wish I had got to known better.Life is so full of hustle and bustle, we lose track of time, and time isn't what we have a lot of. Life is so very short, so make the time to be with your family and friends,to make those special memories, that will always be cherished,by one and all. Love you John.
