Anna N (Mazeika) Koziol

Westfield- Anna “Ann” N. (Mazeika) Koziol, 90, died Tuesday, surrounded by her loving family on October 16, 2018 in Noble Hospital. She was born in Westfield on December 18, 1927 to the late Joseph and Aniela (Sabonis) Mazeika. She grew up in Westfield, attended local schools and was a lifelong resident. She worked at the former Torrington Needle Co. and Steigers Dept. Store. Anna and her husband Joseph also owned and operated the former Flowers by Josef in Westfield. She was an avid Red Sox fan, enjoyed working in her yard, dancing at family weddings and spending time with her friends at Dunkin Donuts. She was pre-deceased by her husband Joseph in 1962 and her son David in 2009. Anna leaves her grandchildren Zach Koziol and his partner Sarah, Laurel Lower and her husband Kevin and Jillian Conroy and her husband Bob all of Westfield, her great-grandchildren David Koziol and Cam and Owen Lower. She also leaves a niece Joann McGavin of Westboro and her nephews Joseph Mazeika of Port Orange, FL. and Alan Gauthier of Flemington N.J. and many great nieces and nephews and friends. She was also pre-deceased by siblings Nellie Mazeika, Sue Gauthier and Joseph Mazeika. Calling hours will be held on Monday October 22nd from 9 am till 10:30 am at the Firtion-Adams Funeral Service, 76 Broad Street, Westfield. A liturgy of Christian Burial will follow at 11 am in St. Peter and St. Casimir Church, 22 State Street, Westfield. Burial will follow in St. Mary’s Cemetery.
