Antoinette M. (Morytko) Tanski

Antoinette M. Tanski, 92, passed away on Wednesday, March 13, 2019 at Governors Center. She was born in Westfield, MA to the late Simon and Mary (Godek) Morytko. Toni worked for a longtime for Holy Trinity Church as a cook and volunteer. She was a longtime and active communicant at Holy Trinity Church and was a member of the Rosary Society there. Toni was predeceased by her beloved husband World War II Army veteran Chester W. Tanski in 1993 and is survived by her loving children, Maryanne A. Tanski of Westfield, Katherine A. Tanski with James Altman of Springfield and John A. Tanski and his wife June of West Springfield, a sister Emily Turner of Belmont, CA and her four cherished grandchildren, Shannon L. Disher Tanski and her wife Brittany Disher Tanski, Christopher J. Tanski, Michael J. Tanski and Matthew P. Tanski. Her funeral will be held on Saturday, meeting at 10AM in Holy Trinity Church, 335 Elm St. Westfield. Visiting hours will be held on Friday from 4-7PM at the Firtion Adams FS, 76 Broad St.  Westfield. Her family would like to thank the ICU staff, and Baystate Noble and the staff at Governor’s Center for the care and support given to Toni and her family.
