Carol Jean (O'Connor) O'Neil

Westfield-Carol Jean (O’Connor) O’Neil, 91, of Westfield passed away on June 16th 2019. She was predeceased by her husband Robert O’Neil and son Robert O’Neil Jr. Carol was a loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother and will be missed by her family; Craig, Dottie and Shea O’Neil of Westfield Ma, Gregory, Lori, Christian, Kathryn, Ryan, and Matthew O’Neil of Granby CT, Joan O’Neil and Dave Tate of Agawam MA, Steven Hope, Tanner and Alexis Haley of Westfield MA, and Amanda, Sean Garret and Anson Connors of Canton OH. Carol was a graduate of Commerce High School Class of 1944. As a longtime resident of Springfield Ma, she and Bob began raising their family in Sixteen Acres before moving to Westfield. In recent years Carol preformed with the Westside Tappers and has been recognized for her numerous volunteer hours at Noble Hospital. Carol embraced every moment of her life, leaving her family and many friends with loving memories. A Celebration of Carol’s life will be held on Saturday, June 22nd at 12 noon at the Firtion- Adams Funeral Service 76 Broad Street Westfield, MA. Calling hours will precede the service Saturday from 10 AM till 12 noon. Donations in lieu of flowers can be made in Carol’s memory to Baystate Hospice, 50 Maple Street, Springfield MA, 01103.
