James Panageotopoulos

James Panageotopoulos, 76, of West Springfield, passed away on January 4, 2019 at Baystate Medical Center. He was born in West Springfield to the late Stavros and Myrtilla (Shackett) Panageotopoulos. James worked as a parts manager for Allen Lawnmower for over 20 years, he also worked for Valentine Plating. He was the arts and crafts director for the West Springfield Boys and Girls Club for many years and a member of the C.R.O.P. program. James was a longtime member of the Bethany Assembly of God in Agawam. Jim is survived by his wife of 21 years, Hazel F. (Tenney) Panageotopoulos and dear friend Gabriella Steria of Montgomery. A Funeral Home Service will be held on Friday, January 11, 2019 at 12:30PM in the Firtion Adams FS, 76 Broad ST. Westfield. A visiting hour will precede the service from 11:30-12:30 in the funeral home. Burial will be held in the spring in Paucatuck Cemetery, West Springfield. Www.firtionadams.com
