Margaret J (Swiatek) Tella

Westfield-Margaret J. (Swiatek) Tella, 80, died Saturday, September 22, 2018 in a local nursing home. She was born in Westfield on October 16, 1937 to the late John and Margaret (Oleksak) Swiatek. She worked for Dr. Kane and the former Steiger’s Dept. Store. She adored her great granddaughters, reading and traveling to Maine with her family. She was pre-deceased by her husband of 61 years William H. Tella in 2016. She leaves her son William J. Tella and his wife Joanne, her grandsons John Tella his wife Eleanor and Joseph Tella his wife Brittany, great granddaughters Lilly, Lavender and Lylah. She also leaves her brother Donald Swiatek and many nieces and nephews. She was pre-deceased by her daughter Deborah (Tella) Henault, her sister Marie Gogol and brother John Swiatek. A memorial Mass will be held at Our Lady of the Blessed Sacrament Church, 127 Holyoke Road, Westfield at 9 am Wednesday, September 26th. Burial will be private.
