Nancy L. (Jackimek) McGillicuddy

Nancy L. (Jackimek) McGillicuddy, 78, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Holyoke to the late William and Helen (Obuchowski) Jackimek. Nancy worked for 31 years for Verizon in the accounting department before she retired. She then was employed by the Westfield School Department for 10 years as a teacher’s assistant and retired once again to be a full time “Honey”. Nancy was predecease by her beloved husband John J. McGillicuddy in 2017, her sisters, Carol, Linda, Patsy, Lana, Deborah and Judy and her brother Jackie. She is survived by her loving children, Chad J. McGillicuddy and his wife Sara of E. Longmeadow and Rockne Q. Jacque and her husband Justin of Westfield, a sister Susan Evans of Holyoke, eight cherished grandchildren, Julian, Koda, Jax, Jason, Patrick, Timothy, Daniel and Christina, her best friend Katelyn McMillian of Worthington, her god son Jason LeBlanc and his wife Kim of Holyoke and many nieces and nephews. A Funeral Home Service will be held on Monday at 1PM in the Firtion Adams FS, 76 Broad St. Westfield followed by burial in the Massachusetts Veterans Memorial Cemetery, 1390 Main St. Agawam. Visiting hours will precede the service from 11:30-1PM in the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, donations in Nancy’s name may be directed to the Hemispherectomy Foundation, P.O.
