Alberta E. (Poisson) St. Germain

Alberta E. (Poisson) St. Germain, 75, passed away suddenly at home on March 4, 2023. She was born in Springfield to the late Ovila J. N. “John” and Dorothy (Foisey) Poisson and raised in Southwick. She worked many years in property management for Rockwell Management, Inc. located at The Mill at Crane Pond. Alberta was previously a bartender at the former Foster House in Westfield. She enjoyed gardening, decorating her home, and was an avid seashell collector.  Alberta’s greatest joy was traveling with her husband John to Aruba, South America, Central America, Jamaica, the British Virgin Islands, and the out islands of the Bahamas. Alberta was predeceased by her husband, John St. Germain in 2015 and her brother Philip Poisson. She is survived by her son Michael J. Keesee of West Springfield; her stepdaughter Brittney St. Germain and her husband John Lewis of Arlington, MA; a brother Harold Dalava Poisson of Southwick and her four cherished grandchildren; Alecia Keesee, Mya Keesee, Owen Lewis, and Ian Lewis. Calling hours for Alberta will be held on Monday, March 13, 2023, from 4-7 PM at Firtion Adams Funeral Service, 76 Broad St. Westfield, MA 01085. Burial will be private and at the convenience of the family.
