Antoinette Pioggia, age 81 of Springfield, MA was called into the arms of the angels on May 4, 2023. She was born on July 29, 1941 to Nicholas and Emma Pioggia. Antoinette is survived by her children: Maria Scibelli, Nicholas Moses and his wife Andrea and Andrea’s sister Jennifer and her daughter Montana, Carl Moses and his wife Dawn. Antoinette was known as “Noni” not only to her family but to many that were blessed to have her in their life. She will be greatly missed by her grandchildren: Alexa Capobianco and her husband Tom, Jude Scibelli, Nicholas Moses and his fiancé Kate, Montgomery Moses and her fiancé Geoff, Hunter Moses and his fiancé Hannah and Jordan Moses. She also leaves behind her sisters Patricia Skala, Mary Lou Scavotto, her husband John and Sherry Redmond. Antoinette worked for Gap Kids, Gap and Old Navy for 28 years and adored her customers. She will forever be remembered for her famous sauce and meatballs, interior decorating skills and hair styling for the entire family. She was the best “Noni” in the world and the most loving and loyal mother, sister, aunt and friend that anyone could ask for. She also leaves behind her lifelong friends Rosalie Saba, Mary Lou Digiacomo, Marilyn Rovelli, Deborah Roncarati and Lillian Brown. The funeral Mass will held on Wednesday, May 10th at 10 am in St. Anthony’s Church in Springfield. Burial will follow in St. Thomas Cemetery in West Springfield. A calling hour will be held in the church before the Mass from 9 am till 10 am.
