Bernard M. Loubier passed away September 1st, 2018 after a courageous battle with cancer. Bernie was born in Springfield, Ma on August 9th, 1971 to Bernard and Mary (Weiller) Loubier. He lived in Springfield until 1978 when his family moved to Agawam. He was a graduate of Agawam High School in 1989. Bernie worked 22 years in the Connecticut Dept of Correction until he retired in 2014. Bernie loved snowmobiling and shooting and was an accomplished fisherman. He was a skilled carpenter and gifted in vehicle, home, and small engine maintenance. He loved vacationing in northern Vermont and called it his "happy place." He was pre-deceased by his maternal and paternal grandparents, and a sister-in-law. Bernie leaves behind his loving wife, Wendy Robinson Loubier, and sons, Tyler and Tanner, two brothers and two sisters-in-law, three nephews, a niece, his parents Bernard Loubier and Mary Lynn (Weiller) Loubier, a mother- and father-in-law, and many beloved relatives and friends. A Memorial Mass will be celebrated for Bernie on Saturday, September 15, 2018 at 10:30AM in St. Mary’s Church, 30 Bartlett St. Westfield, MA. There will be a time to greet the family before the Mass from 9:30-10:30AM.
