Brian Vaughn Towle Sr., 78, of Wilbraham died peacefully at his home on November 26, in the company of his loving wife Bonnie of 56 years. Brian was born and raised in Fort Fairfield, Maine to his late parents Donald H. Sr. and Audrey P. (Higgens) Towle where he graduated, married, and had his 2 oldest sons before moving to Rockville, CT where their youngest son was born. He worked at Pratt & Whitney for several years and ultimately settled in MA where he raised his 3 sons. He was a hardworking dedicated man who spent most of his career in the Bakery Industry as a route salesman for various bread companies. He was a teamster for local 404 and 559. After he retired, he enjoyed working for MCS and Pathlight of Springfield which were agencies that supported individuals with developmental disabilities. Brian had several interests. He loved all cars, especially racing cars and Corvettes. He was a member of the Pioneer Valley Corvette club, Bradly Bowl league, local Pool leagues and a member of the Elks club. Brian was a diehard New England fan and enjoyed going to many of the Boston Red Sox games with his sons, grandchildren, and friends. His biggest fans were his grandchildren including 2 sets of twins. He loved watching all his grandchildren's sporting events which brought back memories of his old coaching days. For relaxation, Brian loved the challenge of a good sudoku puzzle, and enjoyed having a cold beer or two. He also enjoyed morning coffees at Dunkin Donuts in 16-acres with his buddies. Brian enjoyed the company of his 2 dogs who were never far from his side. Brian is predeceased by his youngest son Jonathan. He is survived by his son Michael and his wife Lisa, his son Brian Jr., and his wife Sandy, his 7 grandchildren Ryan, Jaelyn, Jordan, Brandon, Zachary and Nathan Towle, his youngest granddaughter Calissa Policarpo and his brother Donnie of Cocoa Beach, FL. The Memorial Service will be held at Firtion Adams Funeral Home on Wednesday, December 1, 2021, from 4pm-7pm at 76 Broad Street, Westfield, MA. The Funeral service will be held at Firtion Adams on Thursday December 2, 2021, at 1:00. The burial service will directly follow at the Springfield St. Cemetery in Agawam, MA.
