Westfield-Daniel E. “Panda Dan” Wojcik, 24, died Saturday, September 8, 2018 in Baystate Medical Center. He was born in Springfield on November 10, 1993. He grew up in Westfield, attended local schools and was a 2012 graduate of Westfield High School. He worked at Dirats Laboratories in Westfield as a machinist since graduation. He played soccer and lacrosse as a youth, was an avid golfer, a gamer and was a huge Boston Bruins fan. He enjoyed snowboarding and frolfing. He leaves his parents Edward and Carrie (Hine) Wojcik, his sister Brittany and her son Logan and his grandmother Diane Garrison all of Westfield. He also leaves his dog Charlie and several aunts, uncles, cousins and many close friends. The funeral for Dan will be held on Saturday at 12:30 pm at the Firtion-Adams Funeral Service, 76 Broad Street, Westfield. Burial will follow in Pine Hill Cemetery. Calling hours will be held on Friday at the funeral home from 4-7pm. The family request that the wake and funeral be casual dress.
