With sadness, love, and profound gratitude, we announce the passing of our cherished mother Genowefa (Pozniak) Glebocki, 88 at Baystate Medical Center on Saturday, June 18, 2022. She passed as she lived, surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Czerwonka, Poland to the late Waclaw and Janina (Lewkowicz) Pozniak. Genowefa was employed as a seamstress for Rainbow Girl Coat Company in Springfield from 1966-1969 and for MG Kinsler Sewing Company in Springfield from 1982-1990. She was a longtime communicant of Holy Trinity Church in Westfield. Genowefa was predeceased by her beloved husband of 65 years, Edmund Glebocki in 2018, her infant daughter Zdzislawa, and brother Marian Pozniak. She is survived by her loving children, Zdzislaw Glebocki and his wife Barbara of Poland, Wanda Pluciennik and her husband Stanislaw of Westfield, Grzegorz Glebocki and his wife Marzena of Wilbraham, Bozena Jaworowski and her husband Krzysztof of Southampton, Sebastian Glebocki of Westfield, a brother Czeslaw Pozniak of Poland, eleven grandchildren, Ewa, Izabela, Robert, Thomas, Helena, Jakub, Max, Konrad, Daniel, Sebastian and Connor, and thirteen great-grandchildren. Genowefa was an exceptional wife and mother. Her world revolved around her family and she was the light of our world. She devoted her life wholeheartedly to her children, and cared deeply for everyone who was in her life. She was very proud of her 11 grandchildren and totally in love with every one of her 13 great-grandchildren. She was always on a mission to make sure everyone was fed and cared for. She loved feeding friends and guests, and if you ever visited her home, you would not have left hungry. Anyone who knew Genowefa, was touched by her kindness and her beautiful soul. We will always treasure everything about her and love her with all our hearts. She will be dearly missed by all. A funeral service celebrating her life will be held on Friday, June 24th at 9AM from the Firtion Adams Funeral Service, 76 Broad St. Westfield, followed by a Liturgy of Christian Burial at 10AM in Holy Trinity Church, 335 Elm St. Westfield, MA. Burial will be held in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Southampton Rd. Westfield. Visiting hours will be held on Thursday, June 23rd from 5-8PM in the funeral home.
