Joan H (Boistelle) Stolecki

Joan (Boistelle) Stolecki, 83, died Monday September 9, 2019 in a local nursing home. She was born in Westfield on October 12, 1935 to the late Marcel and Dorothy (Bell) Boistelle. She was a 1953 graduate of Holyoke High School and a 1956 graduate of Holyoke School of Nursing. She was a surgical nurse for 30 years at Noble Hospital. She enjoyed area sports, daily soap operas and loved her caretaking of neighbor’s pets. She leaves her children Deborah A Stolecki and Mary Uptigrove of Charlotte, Michigan, Thomas J. Stolecki of Westfield, Karen M. Stolecki and Jo Ann Lecca of Amherst and Lisa A. Baillargeon and Jeffrey of Westfield, her brother Bruce Boistelle of Huntington and her sister Nancy Boistelle of Westfield. She also leaves her grandchildren Justin Baillargeon and Jordan Shand and Scott, great-granddaughter Sloan Shand, nieces Pam, Erin and Jessica. She was pre-deceased by her sister in law Sue Boistelle. The funeral service will be held on Saturday, September 14th at 2:30 pm from the Firtion-Adams Funeral Service, 76 Broad Street, Westfield. Burial will follow in Pine Hill Cemetery. Calling hours will be held on Saturday before the service at the funeral home from 12:30-2:30 pm.
