Joyce King

Joyce King passed away surrounded by loving family on April 30, 2022. She was born in Townshend VT to Porter and Helen Nutting, later moving to Westfield to be a life- long resident. Joyce was one of five children and leaves behind her siblings Patricia Austin and spouse Wallace, Wesley Nutting, Kevin Nutting and Deborah Pike and spouse Dennis. Joyce will also be missed by her ex-husband and a great friend to her Barry King. She was predeceased by her oldest children Barry King Jr and Lynette Bruneau, leaving behind a son Scott King and daughter Heather Barsalou and spouse Justin. Joyce also cherished her many loving grandchildren: Brett, Kayla, Tony, Evan, Brody and Zachary. Joyce was blessed to have great-grandchildren: Caleb, Amelia, Victoria, Noel, Lynette, Isabelle and many nieces and nephews. Joyce worked for many years as a Dietary Aide in local nursing homes. She built bonds with many of the nursing home staff that considered her a second mother. She enjoyed spending time with family, playing the lottery and watching her daily soap operas. Joyce was friendly, light hearted and loved. She will be missed by many. The calling hours for Joyce will be on Monday May 9, 2022 from 4-7 PM at Firtion-Adams Funeral Home, Westfield.
