Kelly C. (Hickson) Hickson

An Angel has left this Earth and has entered a peaceful place in the Universe...Kelly Colleen Hickson of Westfield passed away at home on April 16, 2018. Kelly was born in Holyoke on January 6, 1980.  She attended Westfield Public Schools and graduated from UMASS, Amherst with a degree in business and later earned her Master’s Degree in Human Resources at Suffolk University in Boston. Prior to her returning to Westfield in pursuit of a new career, Kelly worked as a campus recruiter for Sapient in Boston, traveling to various offices and campuses across the U.S. to attract young talent to the company. Kelly leaves her devoted mother Joann Welch and her father Paul Hickson and his family, her uncles Terrence J. “TJ” Welch and Timothy Welch and his wife Mary, and their three boys who held a special place in Kelly’s heart. She also leaves her grandfather Terrence Welch and her cousins Ryan and husband Alex and their three children, and Terrence Justin and wife Irja and their son, and her godmother Donna Carlson and family. Kelly was predeceased by her beloved grandmother Joan and her aunt Lynda, two women whom Kelly greatly admired. Kelly's smile and laughter were infectious; her love for her family was undeniably strong.   Kelly's exuberance for life and her energetic personality will be missed by all who knew her. Visiting hours will be held on Tuesday from 11:30 AM until 1PM in the Firtion Adams FS, 76 Broad St. Westfield. A Funeral Home Service will be held at 1PM in the funeral home.
