Luis Mendez

Luis Mendez, 81, of Westfield, MA, passed away on October 9, 2023. He was born on October 11,1941 in Aguada, Puerto Rico. Luis was a loving husband to Concepcion Mendez and a devoted father to his children Walter, Maribel, Beverly, Elizabeth, Ermelinda, Junior and Lisa Marie. He was also cherished by his 11 grandchildren. Luis will be deeply missed by his siblings Manuel, Carlos, Luisa, Leny, Esther, Gladys, Elba, and Mary. Luis had a zest for life and enjoyed going on nature walks and joking with his loved ones. He found solace in prayer and was a faithful member of St. Mary's Parish. A funeral service for Luis will be held at Firtion Adams Funeral, located at 76 Broad St. Westfield, MA 01085. The wake will take place on Thursday, October 12, 2023, from 5 PM to 8 PM. On Friday, October 13, 2023, at 9 AM, a funeral service will commence, followed by a Mass at 10:30 AM at St. Mary's Parish in Westfield. The burial will follow in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Westfield.
