Michael T. Clegg, 54, of Westfield, MA passed away Wednesday, September 22, 2021, at Baystate Medical Center. Born on March 23, 1967, in Attleboro, MA, he was the son of Linda J. Clegg (LaRosee). He graduated from Westfield High School and received a Bachelors in Mathematics from Westfield State University. For the last 13 years, Michael was employed at CEVA Logistics as a truck driver. Michael was a veteran of the United States Marine Corps and was a reservist with the United States Air Force at Barnes in Westfield. He enjoyed mountain biking and was a member of NEMBA. Those who rode with him know he was sometimes angry at small trees. He loved tinkering with projects around his house and working on his car. He listened to sports radio and was an avid New England Patriot fan. He loved reading, was a big music fan, and loved going to concerts. He will be remembered by family and friends for being a great friend, kindhearted, loyal, honest, willing to help anyone, and for his sense of humor. Let’s not forget he was also stubborn and opinionated. Most importantly, he was a devoted family man. He was a loving and dedicated father to his three sons and was looked up to as a caring father figure to many others. He was a caring and protective brother to his three sisters and a loving and thoughtful son. Michael is survived by his sons Justin M. Clegg (fiancé Marie Palejko), Michael T. Clegg (wife Stephanie Derouin), and Johnathan R. Clegg; sisters Christine M. Fuller, Shannon Videto (husband Mark Videto), and Jami L. Hicks (husband Dan Hicks); grandchildren Lea, Addisen, Cayleigh, and Harper. There are also numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews who will miss him. He is predeceased by his father, John R. Clegg, of South Hadley, MA. Calling hours will be 4-7 pm on Tuesday, September 28, 2021, at Firtion Adams Funeral Home in Westfield, with a memorial service at 7 pm. Funeral procession will start at Firtion Adams at 10:30 am on Wednesday, September 29, 2021, for a graveside service with military honors at Pine Hill Cemetery in Westfield at 11 am.
