Nicholas J Pescitelli

Nicholas J. Pescitelli, 36 passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family on Monday, May 10, 2021. He was born in Springfield, MA on August 12, 1984.  He was a lifelong resident of Westfield and attended local schools and was a 2002 graduate of Westfield High School.  He graduated from Connecticut Culinary Institute and International Culinary Institute Cesar Ritz.  Nicholas was a culinary chef at The Tavern Restaurant in Westfield and the Knox Trail Inn in Otis.  He also worked for Lavoie Horticulture.  Nicholas was an avid golfer, loved playing wiffleball and a passionate New York Yankees, Boston Celtics and New England Patriots fan. He was a member on the Sons of Erin and the APA Pool League.  He is survived by his daughter Colleen Eva Pescitelli, and son Jaxson Luca Pescitelli.  He is survived by his fiancé Ashley Traynor, parents Jean Fallon Pescitelli of Westfield and Joseph Pescitelli, Jr. of Manhattan, NY, brothers Andrew Stephen Pescitelli, his girlfriend Larisa of South Carolina, Joseph Francis Pescitelli III, his wife Becca of Westfield, Matthew William Pescitelli of Westfield, His grandfather Stephen “Red” Fallon of Westfield. He also leaves Aunts and Uncles Ellen and Edziu Wojtowicz of Westfield William Fallon and Tina of Georgia, Dennis O’Connor of Westfield, Francis Pescitelli and Paula of Montgomery, Kathy and Frank Ruscio of Westfield.  He leaves his cousins Jonathan, Jason, Michael,  Maria, Eric,Angela, Shayne, Faith, and Kerrigan and his godson Aidan. He was predeceased by his Aunt Colleen Fallon O’Connor, his grandmother Marilyn Fallon and grandparents Joseph and Teresa Pescitelli.  A funeral Mass will be held on Friday May 14th at 10 am in St. Mary’s Church in Westfield. Burial will follow in St. Mary’s Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Nicholas Pescitelli Memorial Fund, for his children Colleen and Jaxson c/o Westfield Bank, P.O.
