Pamela Morrison Obituary

Pamela Marie (Saul) Morrison, 50 left this world too soon, on August 18, 2021 after a brief illness. Pamela, or Pam as she was known to her family and friends was a caring mother, wife, daughter, sister, and friend. Born May 6,1971 in Bridgeport CT to William, and Virginia Saul. She married Francis Morrison Jr. on July 31, 1998 in Southwick, MA. It was a simple but wonderful celebration of her and Frank's love for each other. Pam graduated from Glen Burnie High School in 1989. She also attended Salisbury University, Maryland graduating with a Bachelor’s Degree in Communications. Pamela graduated with Honors from both high school and college. Pamela worked as a switchboard operator and resident assistant to pay her way through college and was loved and respected by all. During her time at college, she attended Outward Bound on two separate occasions going way outside of her comfort zone, an accomplishment she was proud of. Pam had Celiac disease which contributed to her health challenges, few people knew the extent to which she worked to improve herself physically, spiritually, and emotionally. Her love for life, unbreakable spirit, and unwavering love for her boys kept her pushing through the obstacles placed in front of her. Pam was a dedicated mother first and foremost. She treasured her children Frankie, Lucas, and Sam, and was a second Mother to Emily Almonte and embraced every moment with them. She was a dedicated Hockey Mom. She didn’t love Hockey, but she loved her boys and knew that the experiences and friendships formed in these years would have a positive impact on their lives. Pam took responsibility for teaching her three sons and Emily Almonte how to ride a bicycle. Frankie and Emily (affectionately called Emmeline Sassafras by Pam) also learned how to drive guided by encouragement and calm instruction from Pam. Pam saw that there was an upcoming total eclipse August 21, 2017 and made a spur of the moment decision to see it with her family. She researched the best places to view it and off she went family in tow. While her husband drove, Pamela searched the internet for a hotel room and venue to watch from. She was awesome at researching and planning. South Carolina was the destination, and a local high school was the perfect place for her family to enjoy the once in a lifetime experience. A Birthday party at a hockey rink...dry ice...balloons...metal spoon...water...Pamela researched fun tricks at a party using dry ice (so any parents of young children...Google can help you with this one) it was a good time for all. It was an evening of science experiments, kids fueled by cake and ice cream, and ice skating for those able. Typical of her curious nature and love of learning. Pamela loved Rush and Lady Gaga and only recently did she decide on her top 10 Rush songs. Pamela never decided on her #1 favorite, it was always a choice between two songs (which changed constantly depending on her current mood). Pamela also loved Queen and INXS along with an eclectic taste in music probably inspired by her uncle Peter Lewis. Pam always had a smile on her face that would light up a room. Her joy for life, love for her children, and indomitable spirit never faltered. She had a vivacious personality and always made people around her laugh. Pam made friends everywhere she went, and her spirit left a lasting impression on everyone she met. It was only a month ago Pam attended her Brother-in-Law Aaron and Karen Morrison’s wedding. She looked beautiful and had her usual smile. She is survived by her sons Francis III, Lucas, and Samuel, her Husband Francis Jr. of Chicopee, her father William Saul Jr., her sister Kimberly Bleend and husband Robert and their children Brittany Plumley and her wife Amethyst and Hunter Plumley and his wife Rachel all of Virginia. Many Aunts Lorette Howell, Louise Kelleher both of Florida. Anita Allard, Diane Drouin, and Linda Lewis of Massachusetts and their husbands. Numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins. Pamela had lived in many places growing up and has friends all over the world. Tara and John, Jim, Erika, Linc, Holly, Lillian, Alexandra “Alex” and Tommy, Rick, Jeff and Tamara, Monique, Koeunyi, Tony D, Keith, Kaitlyn, Stacey, Shawn and Chad, Ian, Keithley, Kurt, Jodi, Franny and Christian, these are only a few of the people that Pamela was proud to call friend. Lillian Rippetoe, of Maryland also passed away on August 18th 2021, and was like a second mother to Pam. She was predeceased by her Mother Virginia Saul, a profound loss for all who knew her, her paternal Grandparents William and MaryJane Saul Sr. and maternal Grandparents Alfred and Florence Drouin. She last worked for McBee Associate as a Certified Coding Specialist. Prior to McBee, she worked for Cancer House of Hope-a job she truly loved-leaving only to be a stay-at-home mom during the formative years of her three sons. Pamela also worked at Sunrise Marketing LLC in West Hartford, CT as an Administrative Assistant where she was respected by her employer and co-workers. Pam made a lasting impression on everyone she met. She is missed by all who were lucky enough to know her but will live forever in our hearts. A celebration of Life will be on October 21, 2021 from 4 PM to 6PM. Please share a memory you may have. A Scholarship fund is being set up for her children at TD Bank.
