Robert D. DeRock

Robert D. DeRock, 73, passed away on Friday, November 20, 2020 at Baystate Medical Center. He was born in Springfield to the late Arthur and Marjorie (Mesick) DeRock. Robert worked for the Westfield Fire Department for 20 years before retiring in 1991 as a Captain. He also worked for H.E. Wood and sons for many years as a mechanic retiring from there in 1985. Bob enjoyed restoring antique cars into hot rods and was a member of the Moose Lodge. He is survived by his beloved wife of 49 years, Joy K. (Ruskowski) DeRock of Westfield, his loving son, James R. DeRock and his wife Catherine of Westfield, his cherished grandchildren, Robert J. DeRock, Lora DeRock and Natalie DeRock, his sister-in-law Linda Porter and her husband David of Westfield and a close family friend Donna Sawyer of Westfield. All services are private.
