Sharon M. "Sherri" (Oleksak) Brucknak

Sharon M. “Sherri” (Oleksak) Brucknak, 59, passed away at home surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Springfield to the late Raymond and Evelyn (Jones) Oleksak and was a graduate of Westfield Schools. She worked as a security officer for many years for Westfield State University. Sherri was a member of the Springfield Wesleyan Church and enjoyed trips to Lake George with her husband, Frank. Mostly, Sherri loved spending time with her family and spoiling her grandchildren. She is survived by her beloved husband, Frank L. Brucknak, III, her loving children, Shauna L. Kusnick and her husband Eric, and Frank L. Brucknak, IV with Emily Magnifico, all of Westfield, her siblings, Jake Oleksak and his wife Rose, Mark Oleksak and his wife Donna, Ray Oleksak, Glory Bushey and her husband Doug, all of Westfield and Carol Barcome and her husband Carl of Middlefield, and her cherished grandsons, Seth and Evan Kusnick and Elliot Brucknak and great grandson Ryker Kusnick. She also leaves her mother and father-in-law, Mabel and Frank L. Brucknak, II and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.  A Funeral Home Service will be held for Sherri on Saturday, February 9, 2019 at 2:30 PM in the Firtion Adams FS, 76 Broad St. Westfield, MA 01085. Visiting hours will precede the service from 12-2:30 PM in the funeral home.
