Terese M Duclos

Westfield- Terese Marie (Kratochvil) Duclos 92, a life time Westfield resident, passed away on Thursday, May 28, 2020 at the Genesis Center of Westfield. Terese was born on February 11th 1928 to the late Theodore and Madeline (Ross) Kratochvil. She was a 1946 graduate of St. Mary’s High School in Westfield. Terese was a hair dresser for several years in West Springfield and Westfield. She also worked at the Drug shop in Westfield and was a nurse’s aide at Westfield High School. She was predeceased by her beloved husband James C. Duclos in 2004 and were married on May 18 1948, and loved and enjoyed each other for 55 years. She is also predeceased by her sister Lucille (Krotochvil) Morris- Giesler of Camp Ellis, Maine. She is survived by her sons Paul E. Duclos of Newport N.C. and his wife Mary. Thomas J. Duclos of Westfield, her daughter Kathleen A. (Duclos) Nielsen and her late husband Wayne of Westfield. Her sister May Jane (Krotochvil) O’Connel and her late husband James of Westfield. Her grandchildren Kimberly (Carlson) Censabella and husband Michael of Springfield, Ma. Shelly and Jamie Duclos of Newport N.C. Kelly (Duclos) John of Winchester N.H. Sean Duclos and wife Vicki of Feeding Hills MA. James Duclos and his wife Courtney of West Suffield CT, greatgrandchildren William and Kaylee Kuhn of Springfield Ma. Logan Allen of Southwick Ma. Shealyn and Evan Duclos of West Suffield CT, Emily Terese Duclos of Feeding Hills MA and several nieces and nephews. Terese loved spending time with family most of all. Her weekly date with her sister Mary Jane to the movies and lunch, trips to Maine to their camp and to visit her sister Luicelle and going down south to visit her son Paul and his family. She loved all the family vacations and the big trip with her husband to Europe they always dreamed of. She loved Westfield and enjoyed riding her bike and picnics at Stanley Park. Her services will be private. The family would like to thank the staff at the Genesis Center and Overlook hospice for their great care.
