Walter F. Osowski

Walter F. Osowski, Jr., 80, passed away on March 3, 2019 peacefully at home surrounded by family. He was born in Westfield to the late Walter and Jenny (Lesniewski) Osowski and graduated from Westfield High School. He was employed as a welder fabricator for Ornamental Iron in Chicopee for 27 years. He also served in the Air National Guard. Walter was a longtime communicant of Holy Trinity Church in Westfield. Walter was predeceased by his beloved wife Barbara A. (Godzind) Osowski and is survived by his two sons, Robert S. and wife Susan Osowski and Walter F. III and wife Julie Osowski, of Westfield. His brother Henry Osowski, sisters Carol Lubanski and Kristine Whitehouse, all of Westfield. Walter was most proud of his four grandchildren, Alex, Ashlee, Anthony, and Michael Osowski. He also leaves behind his loyal dog Molly. A memorial mass will be held on Friday at 10am at Holy Trinity Church, 335 Elm Street, Westfield. There are no calling hours.
