Wladyslaw T. Urbanek 72, passed away peacefully at Baystate Medical Center on March 1st, 2021. The son to the late Tadeusz and Helena (Slowik) Urbanek. He worked for Monarch Valves in Westfield as a Valve Technician for many years. Wladyslaw was an avid hunter, fisherman, gardener, mushroom picker and was a wonderful cook creating his favorite polish dishes. He also loved being home watching TV and reading books. Wladyslaw was a very hardworking man and built a few houses in his life time. He was a devoted Catholic and was a member of Holy Trinity Church in Westfield. Wladyslaw was a family man, always putting his wife, children and grandchildren first. Wladyslaw is predeceased by his sister Elzbieta Grabowiec. He leaves his loving wife Janina of 48 years also two sons Marcin and Slawek with his wife Basia, five grandchildren Jacob and Paulina Urbanek also Natalia, Anthony and Thomas Pikula. Wladyslaw also leaves his brother Stanislaw Urbanek and his sister Zofia Guzek and their families. Wladyslaw also leaves many beloved friends, and was well liked by all. The Funeral will be held on Thursday March 4, 2021 at 9 AM in the funeral home with a Liturgy of Christian Burial to follow at 10AM in Holy Trinity Church Westfield. The burial will immediately follow in St. Mary's Cemetery. The calling hours for Wladyslaw will be on Wednesday March 3rd, 2021 from 5-7 PM at Firtion-Adams Funeral Service, 76 Broad Street, Westfield.
