As members of the Becket Fire Dept. we had the pleasure of working with Ed many times when on medical calls with the Becket Ambulance. But more important we will miss the conversations with Ed while hanging around the fire/ambulance garage. Ed was an inspiration to everyone who knew him. Rest in peace Ed.

I just was informed of Ed's passing. In Middlefield,Ed was a community servant who worked very hard to improve the caliber of EMS services to the town. He worked very closely with both the fire and police e departments as an advocate and facilitator for training and the purchase of equipment. He also served on a number of town boards and served as a town Constable. Ed always had the best interest of the town and those he came into contact with in mind. He also saved many lives as a member of the Becket Ambulance Dept. I wish his family and especially his wife Donna my sincerest condolences on his passing. He will be missed.
