James R. Adams

James R. was born and raised in Westfield, graduating from Westfield Vocational Technical High School in 1984 and New England Institute of Applied Arts and Science in Newton, MA in 1991. James R. is a member of St. Mary's Parish, an at large City Councilor serving his 13th year. Additionally, James is a former board member of the Visiting Nurse and Hospice Organization, former board member and volunteer for Westfield Little League, former board member and former president of Amelia Park Ice Arena and former board member of the Westfield Boys and Girls Club. He is a member of the Sons of Erin and Westfield/ West Springfield Elks Club #1481.

Joshua J. Adams

Type III Licensed Funeral Director/ Embalmer

Joshua Adams is a fifth-generation funeral director continuing the family legacy in Massachusetts. He earned his professional license in Funeral Directing and Embalming on September 17, 2019, following his graduation from Goodwin University with a degree in Funeral Service in May 2019. Born and raised in Westfield, MA, Joshua is also a proud graduate of Westfield High School, class of 2017.

Beyond his professional commitments, Joshua is actively involved in his community. He volunteers with Westfield Youth Hockey and serves as a High School and NCAA College Ice Hockey Official in Western Massachusetts through his membership in the New England Intercollegiate Hockey Officials Association (NIHOA). Joshua is a dedicated parishioner of Our Lady of the Blessed Sacrament Parish. He has also contributed as a past board member of the St. Mary's School Board and Amelia Park Ice Arena Board of Trustees.

Joshua's community engagement extends further as a member of the Sons of American Legion Post 124 and the Westfield Sons of Erin. Additionally, he contributes his expertise as a member of the Goodwin University Funeral Service Advisory Board and serves as Vice President and Treasurer for the Western Massachusetts DanceAthon Foundation Board.

James F. is a life long resident of Westfield. He graduated from Westfield High School in 1964 and New England Institute of Anatomy and Physiology in Boston, MA in 1968. James F. is a past Master of Mount Moriah Lodge A.F.& A.M. and a member of Melha Shrine, he was also past President of the Westfield Valley Shrine Club. He is a member of the First United Methodist Church and the Westfield Rotary Club.

Scott D. Ramsdell

Funeral Director/Embalmer

Scott was born in Springfield and raised in West Springfield and is a 1992 graduate of West Springfield High School. Scott proudly served in the Army Reserve and Massachusetts Army National Guard from 1991-1999. Scott is a 1999 graduate of Briarwood College in Southington, CT with an Associates Degree in Mortuary Science.

Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker Coordinator of Grief Support Services

Jill joined the business in the fall of 1996 as our Coordinator of Grief Support Services. She developed and implemented a grief support program, established a lending library, and provides ongoing support and counseling services for individuals, families, and the community.
